Silver Palm Spa and Resort is a piece of paradise in the midst of Kilifi’s untouched coastal beauty. With chalk-white walls, soft arches, and flat roofs, the architecture seamlessly blends Mediterranean and Swahili design, offset by brightly colored tropical flowers, neatly manicured gardens, and towering palm trees.
With sweeping views of the Nairobi National Park and in close proximity to the airport, Emara Ole Sereni is the perfect location for our final night in Nairobi.
The Solo Traveler package is ideal for travelers who are booking the trip on their own! Solo travelers will be assigned a roommate, but are able to upgrade to single occupancy if they would like their own room.
The Bring Your Own Roommate package is ideal for travelers booking in pairs, as they will be automatically be assigned to the same room.
The Nairobi Local package is for Kenyan resident attendees (whose excursion entrance fees would be calculated under the Kenyan resident rate). It does not include Nairobi accommodation or breakfast.
All travelers will need a valid passport to fly into Kenya. Please be sure to verify that your passport has at least one blank page before your travel date and does not expire before August 1, 2023.
Kenya requires some tourists to possess a visa to enter the country and administers those visas online through an e-visa portal. Please check the visa requirements for your country of origin here.
The Safe Journey Retreat encourages all attendees to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19, as approved vaccines have been proven to be safe and effective against hospitalizations and deaths from COVID-19.
As of March 16, 2022, Kenya’s Ministry of Health announced all fully vaccinated passengers arriving in Kenya will be exempted from COVID-19 PCR testing. Full vaccination occurs two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine.
Unvaccinated travelers over the age of 5 years must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test 72 hours before departure. They will also be required to take a rapid antigen test at their own cost ($30) upon arrival. Any person who tests positive will have a PCR test administered at their own cost ($50) and self-isolate. The Safe Journey Retreat team will not cover or reimburse arrival testing costs.
The Safe Journey Retreat team will be facilitating PCR testing for attendees whose return flights require PCR tests, at no additional cost.
Vaccination and testing requirements are subject to change based on governmental requirements and safety guidelines.
Our standard cancellation charges cover the cost of processing your cancellation and compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements.
